Giving at First Baptist Church

At First Baptist Church of Ahoskie, we take giving very seriously. As with other spiritual disciplines like worship, study, prayer, and service, we are called to give of our time and money to the Lord. It is a regular part of our worship and brings meaning and depth to our spiritual lives.

Our church operates on an Annual Budget, prepared by the Finance Committee and approved by the members of our church. Your church leadership makes every effort to use your gifts wisely. If you have any questions about this, or would like to see financial statements, please contact Martie Tayloe, our church administrator.

If you would like to begin giving to First Baptist Church, we offer various options to do so:

Cash or Check

For your convenience, the church offers envelopes for your tithes and offerings. If you do not  receive envelopes, and would like to, please contact Martie Tayloe. We also keep some stocked in the pew racks in our sanctuary. You may place cash or checks (payable to First Baptist Church) in one of these envelopes and place it in the offering plate during a service. You may also mail it to First Baptist Church, PO Box 649, Ahoskie, NC 27910. Please indicate if the funds are for a specific purpose. Otherwise, we will apply the donation to our General Budget.

Bill Pay Through your Bank Website

Many financial institutions, free of charge, now offer to mail checks from your account to First Baptist Church on a one-time or recurring basis. Please inquire at your local branch.

Stocks & Investments

You may also donate to First Baptist Church by the transfer of stocks or other investments, which may possibly carry certain tax advantages. For more information, please first consult your financial advisor and then let Martie Tayloe know if we can assist with this process.
